Formats
- MP4 with H.264 (default) or HEVC and AAC audio.
- WebM with VP9 and Opus.
- GIF, up to 30 fps. Gliderec warns you when a GIF is larger than 20 MB.
Settings
- Resolution: 720p, 1080p, 1440p, 4K or the source size.
- Frame rate: 24, 30 or 60.
- Quality: small file, balanced or high.
Presets
Built-in presets: YouTube 1080p60, YouTube 4K, Shorts, Reels and TikTok (9:16), Twitter/X, LinkedIn and a GIF preset for docs.
While exporting
Exports run in the background. You see progress and the time left, and you can cancel or queue more exports. When a file is ready, copy it or show it in its folder.
If a hardware encoder fails, Gliderec retries with the software encoder automatically.
