Preview
The preview at the top plays your video in real time with the same renderer that exports it. Use play and pause, scrub, step frame by frame, or press J, K and L to go back, pause and go forward.
Timeline
The timeline at the bottom has a track for each layer:
- Video
- Zoom segments
- Speed segments
- Keystrokes, when enabled
- Microphone audio
- System audio
- Webcam visibility
Editing
Every edit can be undone and redone. Gliderec autosaves your work every few seconds and when you close the editor.
- Trim the start and end.
- Cut: split at the playhead, or delete a range. Every track is cut together.
- Speed up a range to 1.5×, 2×, 4× or 8×.
- Change volume per track, mute a track, and add fades.
- Show or hide the webcam, and choose its corner, shape, size and border.
