Zoom automatico

Come vengono generati gli zoom e come modificarli.

How zooms are made

Gliderec treats clicks and typing bursts (three or more key presses within a second) as activity. Activity that happens close together in time and in position becomes one zoom segment.

  • A segment starts 0.6 seconds before the first activity and ends 1.5 seconds after the last.
  • The default zoom is 2×. You can set it anywhere from 1.25× to 4×.
  • Segments with less than a second between them are merged.
  • Inside a segment the view follows your cursor smoothly and keeps it near the center.
  • Zooming in and out takes half a second with an ease-in-out curve.

Ignoring stray clicks

Turn on “ignore stray clicks” to skip single clicks on an empty area.

Editing zooms

Every zoom is a block on the timeline. Drag it to move it, drag its edges to resize it, or select it to change the scale and the focus. You can follow the cursor or pick a fixed point on the preview. You can also add or delete zooms.

The same recording with the same settings always produces the same zooms.
