Turning it on
The keystroke overlay is off by default, for privacy. Turn it on in the recording settings.
Modes
- Shortcuts only (the default when enabled): shows keys pressed together with Ctrl, Alt or Win.
- All keys: shows every key, grouped into short words.
Look
Choose the position (bottom center by default), a dark or light style and the size.
Privacy
Keys are captured only while you record, and only if the overlay is on. Keys typed into a password field are not shown. This check works on a best-effort basis, so avoid typing secrets while recording.
