This policy explains what Gliderec and gliderec.com store about you, why, and how you can delete it.
Who we are
Gliderec is a Windows screen recorder made by Exeply, a company registered in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at contact@gliderec.com.
What we store about you
When you sign in to the Gliderec app, we store:
- Your email address.
- Your sign-in provider (email, Google or GitHub).
- An account status record that the app uses to decide which features are available to you.
What stays on your computer
Your recordings, webcam video, audio, keystroke and mouse event logs, and project files stay on your computer. Gliderec does not upload them. Keystrokes are captured only while you record and only if you turn the keystroke overlay on.
This website
gliderec.com does not use advertising cookies. We measure visits with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies. If you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply.
Who processes data for us
We use these services to run Gliderec:
- Supabase: accounts and sign-in for the app.
- Vercel: hosting for this website.
- Resend: delivery of contact form messages.
- Plausible: cookie-free website analytics.
How long we keep data
We keep your account data until you delete your account. We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep support records.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to how it is used. Write to contact@gliderec.com and we will respond. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Deleting your account
Open Gliderec, go to Settings, then Account, and choose Delete account. This deletes your account and profile. If you cannot use the app, email us and we will delete it for you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
